We are looking for a Design Engineer with solid experience in Automotive Exterior Trim / Exterior Parts design. The candidate should have hands-on experience in UG NX / Siemens NX and be responsible for the design and development of automotive exterior components.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automotive exterior trim and plastic components using UG NX / Siemens NX.
- Work on components such as Bumpers, Grilles, Fenders, Wheel Arch Liners, Side Claddings, Spoilers, Pillar Garnishes, Mouldings, Roof Rails, etc.
- Perform 3D modelling, assembly, detailing and 2D drawing activities.
- Develop designs based on customer/OEM requirements and engineering standards.
- Support design modifications, engineering changes and product development activities.
- Ensure proper fitment, packaging and interface with adjacent components.
- Apply knowledge of GD&T;,



DFM/DFA and automotive design principles.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Body, BIW, Manufacturing, CAE and suppliers.
- Support design reviews, issue resolution and product validation.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in UG NX / Siemens NX / Unigraphics.
- Experience in Automotive Exterior Trim / Exterior Parts design.
- Good knowledge of automotive plastic components and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with 3D modelling, assembly and 2D drafting.
- Knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawing standards.
- Good understanding of fitment, tolerance, packaging and component interfaces.
- Experience working with automotive OEMs / Tier-1 suppliers is preferred.
