Summary:
UST is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead software engineering teams in building scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in AWS, .NET, and MongoDB, combined with experience leveraging AI tools to improve engineering productivity and software delivery. This role requires solid leadership, stakeholder management, and a passion for developing high-performing teams
The Opportunity:
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable applications using .NET, AWS, and MongoDB.
- Define technical strategy, architecture, and engineering standards aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee end-to-end software delivery, ensuring quality, security, performance, and reliability.
- Champion Agile delivery, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.
- Promote the effective use of AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, ChatGPT) to improve developer productivity and code quality.
- Manage engineering capacity, delivery plans, risks, dependencies, and technical debt.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, and Operations teams to deliver business outcomes.
- Drive cloud modernization, application modernization, and automation initiatives.
- Recruit, coach, and retain engineering talent through performance management and career development.
