- Assist faculty members in conducting Petroleum Engineering laboratory sessions.
- Prepare laboratory equipment, instruments, samples, chemicals, and experimental setups.
- Demonstrate laboratory experiments and guide students in performing practical work.
- Support students in laboratory assignments, mini-projects, and final-year projects.
- Operate and maintain petroleum engineering laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Maintain laboratory records, equipment registers, inventory, calibration records, and consumable records.
- Ensure availability and proper storage of laboratory materials, chemicals, samples, and equipment.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, discipline, and safety standards.
- Ensure students follow appropriate PPE and laboratory safety procedures.
- Assist faculty during practical examinations, assessments, workshops, and demonstrations.
- Support research activities and laboratory testing conducted by the department.
- Coordinate with faculty and technical/maintenance teams for laboratory requirements.
- Follow university policies and standard laboratory operating procedures.
