Electrical Project Engineer – Industrial Installations

.Job Summary:

The Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for the complete execution and supervision of industrial electrical installation projects — from design review and material planning to installation, testing, and commissioning. The role demands robust field experience with HT/LT systems, switchyards, industrial cabling, earthing, lighting, and protection systems, ensuring timely delivery with adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and monitor electrical installation works at industrial sites.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), layout plans, and cable schedules.
- Execute and supervise installation of:
- 11kV / 33kV HT Switchyards, RMUs, transformers, VCB panels, and protection relays.
- Earthing systems – maintenance-free and conventional earth pits, earthing grids, and bonding systems.




- Industrial LV panels – PCCs, MCCs, PDBs, APFC panels, control and relay panels.
- Industrial cabling works – HT/LT cable laying, glanding, termination, and testing.
- Cable tray systems – GI Cable trays, ladder/ raceway/ trunking, with full support structure fabrication and installation.
- Industrial and emergency lighting systems – high-bay, street, and task lighting.
- Lightning protection systems – air terminals, down conductors, and surge protection devices.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams for integrated project execution.
- Prepare material requirement plans, BOQs, and ensure timely procurement of project materials.
- Supervise subcontractors and site technicians to ensure compliance with drawings and standards.
- Conduct pre-commissioning and post commissioning tests.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and electrical safety norms.
