About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Consensus Protocol Engineer to design, implement, and

formally verify the consensus layer of our next-generation Layer-1 blockchain. This is

one of the most critical engineering positions responsible for building the

blockchain’s consensus engine, ensuring protocol safety, liveness, and achieving

deterministic finality in under one second.

Key Responsibilities

 Design and implement Layer-1 consensus protocol in Rust.

 Build and maintain the formal TLA+ specification.

 Perform formal verification using TLC and Apalache.

 Implement Tower BFT consensus.

 Develop validator voting and leader election logic.

 Implement BLS12-381 signature aggregation.

 Optimize consensus performance for sub-second finality.

 Build consensus testing and simulation framework.

 Resolve consensus security audit findings.

 Collaborate with Protocol, Cryptography, Networking, and Security teams.

Mandatory Experience

 8+ years in Software Engineering.

 4+ years in Blockchain Protocol Development.

 Hands-on experience building Layer-1 blockchain infrastructure.

 Experience implementing or modifying consensus algorithms.

 Production experience with Rust.

 Experience with formal verification tools
