Key Responsibilities

Teach History to Classes XI–XII as per CBSE curriculum.

Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans and classroom activities.

Explain historical events, concepts, timelines, and developments effectively.

Prepare worksheets, assignments, question papers, and study material.

Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.

Support students in preparation for board examinations.

Identify learning gaps and provide additional academic support where required.

Maintain student academic records and assessment reports.

Maintain effective classroom discipline and encourage student participation.

Conduct project work, discussions, presentations, and other subject-related activities.

Participate in PTMs, school events, workshops,



and other academic activities.

Coordinate with parents and colleagues regarding students' academic progress.

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of History and the CBSE curriculum.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Solid classroom management abilities.

Ability to make History engaging through discussions, visuals, maps, timelines, and activities.

Good assessment and lesson-planning skills.

Proficiency with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms.

Student-focused and innovative teaching approach.

Preferred Candidate

Prior experience teaching History at the senior secondary level.

CBSE school teaching experience will be preferred.

Candidates with strong board-examination preparation experience will be preferred
