Endoscopy Technician

Position: Endoscopy Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the endoscopy procedure room, equipment, instruments, and consumables before procedures.
- Assist doctors during procedures such as Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, ERCP, and other endoscopic procedures as applicable.
- Prepare and position patients before procedures and provide appropriate support during and after the procedure.
- Handle endoscopes, accessories, cameras, light sources, suction, and other related equipment safely.
- Assist with patient monitoring and promptly report any abnormal findings or concerns to the clinical team.
- Perform proper cleaning, disinfection, and reprocessing of endoscopes and accessories as per hospital protocols.
- Maintain strict infection-control, biomedical waste management, and patient-safety standards.
- Assist with specimen collection, identification, labeling,



and transfer to the appropriate laboratory.
- Maintain accurate procedure records, equipment logs, reprocessing records, and other departmental documentation.
- Check equipment functionality and report defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Maintain adequate stock of endoscopy consumables and accessories.
- Support emergency endoscopy procedures when required.
- Coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, anesthesia team, laboratory, and other departments.
- Follow hospital policies, quality standards, and applicable NABH requirements.

Qualification
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Endoscopy Technology or relevant healthcare technology.
- Additional certification in endoscopy or related technical training will be an advantage.

Experience
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in anhospital .

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
