Overview of the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT projects for BFSI clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and proven experience in delivering Lending, Banking, Leasing, or Insurance technology solutions.

The role demands ownership of project planning, execution, governance, customer communication, team management, and successful delivery while ensuring quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Delivery
- - Lead end-to-end execution of multiple IT projects using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Prepare project plans, effort estimations, schedules, resource plans, and delivery milestones.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery within agreed scope, timelines, quality, and budget.
- Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and drive mitigation plans.
- Ensure successful project closure with complete documentation and customer sign-off.

Client & Stakeholder Management
- - Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular governance meetings, project status reviews, steering committee meetings, and executive updates.
- Build robust customer relationships through transparent communication and proactive issue resolution.
- Manage customer expectations while balancing delivery commitments and business priorities.
- Handle project escalations effectively and ensure timely resolution.

3. Team Leadership
- - Lead cross-functional teams comprising Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, Architects, and Technical Leads.
- Allocate work effectively based on project priorities and team strengths.
- Mentor team members and foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance culture.
- Track team productivity and ensure optimum resource utilization.
