Software Architect II | Grade C1 | US / India Role Overview Role / Grade / Location Software Architect II | C1 | US / India Discovery Track Technical Discovery / Architecture Assessment Role Summary Leads technical discovery and architecture assessment for CXI platform, claims modernization, and system/application workflows, supporting future-state solution recommendations. CXI Discovery Scope Technical discovery, architecture assessment, platform analysis, claims modernization strategy, integration review, solution design, and automation opportunity validation. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical discovery workshops to understand applications, integrations, data flows, constraints, and dependencies.
- Assess current architecture maturity, scalability, reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Evaluate platform capabilities, reporting architecture, integration patterns, and modernization opportunities.
- Validate automation opportunities with technical feasibility, complexity, constraints, and target-state implications.
- Create architecture assessment outputs, diagrams, technical risks, and solution recommendations. Required Qualifications
- 8-12+ years in software engineering, application architecture, solution architecture, or platform architecture.
- Healthcare domain experience is required, with healthcare payer, claims, member experience, G&A;, audit, or regulatory workflow exposure preferred based on track assignment.
- Solid understanding of enterprise applications, cloud, integration, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Python, React, and Spring Boot is required for technical discovery, application assessment, and solution validation activities.
- Experience with agentic framework development, AI, and machine learning solution patterns is preferred.
