Description

The L2 Network Engineer is responsible for providing advanced operational support, troubleshooting, and maintenance across customer network environments within a managed services and enterprise infrastructure setting. The role focuses on resolving escalated network incidents, implementing standard changes, maintaining network stability, and supporting service availability across LAN, WAN, wireless, firewall, and cloud-connected environments.

The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical problem-solving capability,



and a proactive approach to maintaining secure, resilient, and high-performing network services.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose LAN/WAN and user connectivity issues
- Investigate site-level or connectivity alerts
- Resolve LAN issues, wireless faults, and site connectivity problems
- Investigate branch connectivity and ISP issues
- Troubleshoot VPN or remote connectivity issues
- Assist with troubleshooting and coordination
- Support firewall troubleshooting requests
- Execute standard network changes
- Support automated configuration deployment
- Investigate network paths affecting hosted services
- Investigate performance degradation
- Update operational procedures
- Provide operational insights from L2 troubleshooting

Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a Network Engineer, NOC Engineer, or infrastructure support role within an enterprise or managed services setting
