Job Summary:
The Senior Bartender is responsible for managing daily bar operations, preparing and serving beverages, maintaining service standards, and supporting the Bar Manager in supervising the bartending team. The role requires excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beverages, customer service, and bar hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wine, beer, coffee, and other beverages according to standards.
- Maintain consistent quality, presentation, and taste of all drinks.
- Supervise and guide bartenders and bar assistants during shifts.
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked and properly organized before, during, and after service.
- Monitor beverage inventory, stock levels, wastage, and requisitions.
- Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and responsible alcohol-service procedures.
- Provide friendly and professional service and handle guest requests or complaints.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar, equipment, glassware, and storage areas.
- Operate POS systems and ensure accurate billing and cash handling.




- Check bar equipment and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Train junior bartenders on recipes, service standards, hygiene, and bar procedures.
- Assist with menu development, cocktail specials, promotions, and special events.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and food & beverage team to ensure smooth service.
- Monitor guest preferences and provide recommendations on beverages.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, health, and liquor regulations.
- Prepare shift handover reports and communicate operational issues to the Bar Manager.

Requirements:
- Diploma/certificate in Bartending, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- 2–5 years of bartending experience, preferably in a hotel, lounge, restaurant, or upscale cafe/bar.
- Robust knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Good communication and guest-service skills.
