**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CAD Engineer to become an integral part of our Research & Development team within the precision hand tool manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in advancing our capabilities in developing high-precision hand tools, including spanners, ratchets, and associated components. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting prototype development, process improvements, and new product introductions, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of durability and dimensional accuracy.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- **CAD/CAM Programming:** Develop and optimize CNC programs using advanced CAM software to ensure efficient and accurate machining of high-precision hand tools.
- **Toolpath Optimization:** Analyze and refine toolpaths to enhance machining efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve product quality.
- **Fixture and Jig Design:** Design and implement effective fixtures and jigs to support the machining process, ensuring stability and precision during operations.




- **Machining Tolerances:** Collaborate with the engineering team to define and achieve exact machining tolerances, ensuring products meet stringent quality standards.
- **Tooling Selection:** Select appropriate cutting tools and materials to optimize machining performance and extend tool life.
- **Prototype Development:** Assist in the development and machining of prototypes, facilitating rapid prototyping and design validation.
- **Process Improvements:** Identify and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
