Roles and Responsibilities :
- Plan and execute daily shift operations in the furnace area, ensuring efficient melting of scrap metal.
- Monitor and control the temperature, flow rate, and quality of molten metal to meet production targets.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize furnace performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working workplace.
Job Requirements :
- 5-12 years of experience in metallurgy or related field (furnace operation).
- Strong understanding of SMS (Scrap Metal Specification) standards for melting processes.
- Ability to plan and coordinate shifts effectively using SMS systems.
