Heavy Truck Driver Responsibilities
- Operate heavy trucks safely to transport goods over short and long distances.
- Load, secure, and unload cargo when required.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure it is roadworthy.
- Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain trip logs, fuel records, and delivery documents.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delays to the transport manager.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, such as checking tires, brakes, oil, and lights.
- Ensure cargo is properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
- Keep the truck clean and maintain required documentation,



including permits and licenses.
- Follow procedures for hazardous or special cargo, if applicable.

Required Skills
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
- Protected driving practices.
- Knowledge of traffic rules and transport regulations.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Time management and route planning.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to handle long-distance travel and meet delivery schedules.
- Knowledge of GPS and navigation systems.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,122.61 per month
