Role & responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and hands-on practical sessions in core areas like Food Production, F&B; Service, Front Office, and Housekeeping.
- Design lesson plans, instructional manuals, and digital learning content.
- Conduct skill demonstrations and interactive workshops.
- Grade quizzes, assignments, midterm exams, and final practical tests.
- Mentor students on career paths, academic growth, and skill gaps.
- Guide student research projects, dissertations, and industrial training reports.
- Invite guest speakers and organize industrial visits to hotels and resorts.
- Keep coursework current with changing trends in hospitality and catering.
- Write and publish research papers in academic and hospitality journals.
- Assist in departmental meetings, accreditation documentation, and committee work.
- Help market the program and participate in student admission drives.
Preferred candidate profile
- Masters degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality Administration.
- Ph.D. in Hotel Management or Hospitality (desirable).
- UGC-NET qualified in Tourism Administration and Management.
- Bachelors degree in Hotel Management (BHM) as a base.
- 2+ years of experience in teaching or high-end hotel operations.
- Deep knowledge of F&B; service
- Good research skills with published papers in recognized journals.
- Solid public speaking and student mentoring abilities.
