Reliance Industries Limited is seeking a highly motivated and versatile engineering professional for a [3 Years] Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) within our rapidly scaling Recent Energy Battery Business. Based out of our world-scale manufacturing facility at Jamnagar, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day operations bridging advanced automated manufacturing, quality testing, and predictive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
1. Production & Process Execution
- Operate automated machinery across the cell manufacturing or pack assembly lines safely and efficiently.
- Monitor production parameters (slurry coating, cell winding, electrolyte filling, formation, or aging) to minimize bottlenecks.
- Coordinate shop floor trials for process optimization and engineering changes under direction from the Technology team.
2. Quality Assurance & Testing
- Conduct process inspections and verify product specifications at designated quality gates.
- Perform teardown analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on field-returned batteries or defective line pieces.
- Manage compliance documentation including APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, and User Requirement Specifications (URS).
3. Equipment & Mechanical Maintenance
- Execute preventive maintenance plans to keep highly automated gigafactory equipment running at peak availability.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults rapidly to minimize line downtime.
- Calibrate testing instruments and log spare parts consumption inside the plant inventory system.
Skills and QualificationsRequired Education & Experience:
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or B.sc in Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics
- 1-5 years of industry experience
