CNC Laser Cutting Operator – Job Description

Operate and monitor CNC laser cutting machines.

Read and understand engineering drawings and cutting layouts.

Load and unload MS, SS, GI and other sheet-metal materials.

Set machine parameters such as laser power, speed, gas pressure and cutting height.

Upload and run CNC programs/Nesting files.

Check first-piece and finished dimensions using measuring instruments.

Perform basic machine setup, nozzle/lens cleaning and routine maintenance.

Identify and correct cutting problems such as burrs, incomplete cutting and poor edge quality.

Maintain production targets, quality standards and safety procedures.

Record production quantities, material usage and machine downtime.

Coordinate with production, programming and quality teams.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
