Looking for an experienced Production Operator to handle day-to-day batch/process operations at our solvent manufacturing plant, ensuring safe, productive, and quality production.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor reactors, distillation columns, and process equipment as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Charge raw materials/solvents into reactors as per batch card/process instructions
- Monitor and control process parameters — temperature, pressure, flow rate, level — during reaction and distillation
- Carry out distillation/recovery operations and ensure targeted yield and product quality
- Collect in-process samples and coordinate with QC/Lab for approval before further processing
- Maintain batch manufacturing records (BMR), log sheets, and shift handover reports
- Ensure material charging quantities and sequence are followed accurately as per formulation
- Operate utility equipment (pumps, agitators, vacuum systems) associated with the process
- Follow permit-to-work systems, PPE usage, and safety protocols while handling flammable/hazardous solvents




- Report process deviations, abnormalities, leaks, or spills immediately to Shift Supervisor/EHS
- Support housekeeping and 5S practices in the production area
- Coordinate with Maintenance/Electrical teams for equipment breakdown attending

Requirements
- B.Sc or ITI / Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- 2–5 years of experience as a Production Operator in a chemical, solvent, or pharma/API plant
- Working knowledge of batch processing, distillation, and reactor operations
- Basic understanding of process parameters (temperature, pressure, vacuum) and control panels/DCS (if applicable)
- Familiarity with hazardous chemical handling, PPE, and safety protocols
- Ability to read and follow SOPs, batch cards, and process instructions
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
