Fund Manager / Assistant Fund Manager

We are looking for an experienced Fund Manager / Assistant Fund Manager to join our team in Kolkata. The role involves analyzing market conditions, identifying investment opportunities, researching stocks, and building and managing portfolios for clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze financial data and prepare research reports and financial models.
2. Research stocks and identify suitable investment opportunities.
3. Assist in designing tailor-made investment portfolios for clients.
4. Monitor investment and portfolio performance regularly.
5. Support investment decisions based on market conditions and financial analysis.
6. Prepare financial statements, reports and projections.
7. Build and maintain financial models.
8. Ensure adherence to financial and PMS rules and regulations.
9. Assist Relationship Managers during client meetings and investment discussions when required.





Requirements

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
2. CFA / FRM / CA qualification preferred.
3. Minimum 5 years of overall stock market experience.
4. At least 2 years of experience as an Investment Advisor, Assistant Fund Manager, Fund Manager or Portfolio Manager.
5. Solid knowledge of stock markets, financial analysis and investment research.
6. Strong financial modelling and Excel skills.
7. Ability to understand market trends, economic developments and global/national news.
8. Strong analytical, decision-making and communication skills.
9. High level of integrity, accountability and attention to detail.
