We have a requirement for Process Design Engineer - Intern for Kochi location.

Internship: 3 months

Based on performance during the internship, the candidate may be offered a full time position.

Roles and responsibilities:

· Prepare engineering primary documents like Design Philosophies, Process Design Basis, Process Simulations, Calculations for Equipment & Pressure Relieving Devices, Process Equipment data sheets, Process

Instrument Data Sheets, equipment lists, Line Lists, Valve list, Tie-In List, Control Philosophy, C&ED;, Process Description.

· Generate of engineering Drawings like BFD, PFD, H&MB;, P&ID;, Material Selection Diagrams

· Perform Process Simulations / hydraulics/modeling to optimize process performance and prepare reports

using ASPEN HYSYS & HTRI

· Develop hydraulics for pumps and line sizing by hand calculations or using software

· Size Control valves, PSV, Pressure vessel, Separators as per relevant standards (Shell DEP, API, ASME)

· Develop Process / Functional Specifications

· Identify & troubleshoot process issues & implement solutions





· Review applicability of existing drawings, standards and specifications and implement appropriate changes.

· Participate in meetings including Design Review, Client Meetings, HAZID, HAZOP, etc.

· Management, maintenance and control of documents and data required for the positive execution of the projects

· Undertake all work within the estimated man hour budget and within schedule

Requirements:

· Educational qualification: Btech Chemical Engineering

· Experience: Fresher

Skills Required:

· Line sizing for Liquids & Gases & Pressure drop calculations

· Air Moisture Separator Calculations as per GPSA

· Breather Valves & Venting requirements as per API 2000

· PSV/PRV/RD, Pressure Setting Criteria & Relief events

·Pump Calculations Sizing & Data sheet

· Know about types of Valves & Applications

· Control Valves Sizing & Calculations

· Design of Heat Exchanger’s & Cooling Tower

· Design & Clas
