Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Substation Design Engineer (Secondary Protection) with 5–18 years of experience in 132kV and above substations.

Mandatory Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/ Electronics
Key Responsibilities
Review & Modification of Substation Engineering Documents
GIS/AIS Local Control Cabinet (LCC)
Control & Protection Panels
Tariff Metering Panels
Telecommunication System
Fault Recorder
LV AC/DC System including Battery, Charger & UPS
CRP, SCS & Telecom Interface Engineering
SCS Architecture
Telecom Network Architecture
Signal Lists
I/O Mapping List & Data Display for LDC (NCC)
Cable Schedule




Site Test Procedures & Site Test Forms
Design & Engineering
Key Single Line Diagram (SLD)
Protection Single Line Diagram
Logic Diagrams (Interlock, Inter-trip, etc.)
CT/VT Sizing Calculations
Fixed & Variable Relay Setting Calculations
Coordination
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams for Protection, Control, SCADA (SCS), and Telecommunication systems.
Preferred Experience
Experience with DEWA, FEWA, TRANSCO, SEC (Saudi Electricity Company), KAHRAMAA, or OETC projects.
Site testing, commissioning support, and defect list clearance.
Relay logic modification and troubleshooting.
