Key Responsibilities

Procurement Planning & Strategy

 Develop and implement procurement plans and tendering strategies aligned with project schedules and objectives.

 Identify procurement priorities, critical packages, and long-lead equipment requirements.

 Monitor procurement timelines and expedite pre-award activities to meet project milestones.

Tender Documentation Management

 Prepare, review, and manage RFQs, RFPs, ITTs, and other tender documentation.

 Ensure completeness and consistency of tender packages, including scope of work, technical specifications, commercial requirements, and contractual conditions.

 Control tender document issuance, revisions, and bidder correspondence.

Technical Specification Coordination

 Coordinate with engineering and project teams to develop and validate technical specifications and procurement requirements.

 Ensure technical requirements are accurately incorporated into tender documents.

 Facilitate resolution of technical queries during the tendering process.

Vendor Management

 Establish, maintain,



and update approved vendor and contractor databases.

 Coordinate supplier prequalification and capability assessments.

 Support identification of qualified suppliers and contractors for project packages.

Bidder Conferences & Clarifications

 Organize bidder conferences, pre-bid meetings, site visits, and clarification sessions.

 Manage bidder communications and ensure timely responses to technical and commercial queries.

 Issue clarifications and addenda as required during the tendering process.

Bid Coordination & Evaluation

 Coordinate receipt, opening, and administration of tender submissions.

 Facilitate technical, commercial, and contractual evaluations with multidisciplinary teams.

 Prepare bid comparison reports, evaluation summaries, and recommendation documents.

 Ensure evaluations comply with project procedures and governance requirements.
