Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure music licenses are issued based on correct parameters in accordance with the Company Tariff and that revenue collection is optimized.
- Monitor licensing activities to prevent revenue leakage, considering the intangible nature of music usage.
- Conduct extensive research on social media platforms to:
- Generate qualified leads for the Sales Team, contributing to additional revenue generation.
- Identify events where music was used without appropriate licensing (post facto) to enable recovery of applicable license fees and/or initiate legal action.
- Coordinate and interact with the Sales Team on a PAN-India level to ensure proper licensing of music played for commercial purposes.
- Assist in developing and improving processes and procedures related to revenue assurance.
- Create, generate, and analyse reports while ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Support financial reporting requirements and management of internal controls.
- Inspect, investigate, and resolve discrepancies, ensuring appropriate and timely closure.
