Garage Equipment Technician Role:
- Primary Role: Installs, inspects, calibrates, and repairs automotive workshop machinery (hydraulic lifts, tire changers, wheel balancers, 3D alignment systems, and air compressors) to maintain workplace safety and operational efficiency.
- Key Tasks:
- Installation & Assembly: Anchor, level, and wire machinery to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or fluid faults; replace worn components; inspect safety locks and lift cables.
- Calibration: Fine-tune optical sensors and electronic balancers for accurate operation.
- Safety Compliance: Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and conduct load testing to meet safety standards.
- Core Requirements: Background in electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with experience in industrial or automotive maintenance.
