Position: Production Engineer – Offsite & Prefabricated Pods

Location: Jalandhar Plant

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Prefabrication & Assembly Specialist to oversee and execute the end-to-end fabrication of modular units (conference room pods, washroom pods, security cabins, and acoustic office booths). The ideal candidate will manage structural steel framing, MEP fit-outs, paneling, acoustic insulation, and final finishing.

Key Responsibilities
- Structural Assembly: Read CAD drawings and build/welding structural frameworks using Light Gauge Steel Framing (LGSF), mild steel, or aluminum extrusions.
- Fit-Out & Interior Finishing: Install wall paneling, drywall, acoustic insulation, glass doors, flooring, and ceiling systems.
- MEP & Utility Integration: Pre-route electrical conduit, plumbing lines (especially critical for washroom pods), LED lighting, ventilation, and smart locks/controls.
- Quality & Waterproofing: Ensure leak-proofing, soundproofing integrity (STC ratings), structural rigidity,



and smooth transport-ready finishing.
- Shop-Floor Management: Manage material cutting, jig preparation, quality control (QC) checks, and raw material inventory.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3–7 years in offsite construction, container conversions, pre-engineered buildings (PEB), modular furniture, or commercial interior fit-outs.
- Technical Skills:
- Ability to read 2D/3D fabrication drawings (AutoCAD/Revit).
- Hands-on knowledge of MIG/TIG welding, drywall installation, acoustic paneling, and basic plumbing/electrical wiring.
- Experience with materials like ACP (Aluminum Composite Panels), MDF, rockwool insulation, glass, and vinyl flooring.
- Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, or Production Engineering (or ITI certification with solid hands-on experience).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
