Role Description
This full time remote Brand & Social Media Specialist role is responsible for shaping and growing Gen Checkup’s brand presence across social and digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include developing and executing social media strategies, creating and scheduling content, managing community engagement, and monitoring brand conversations across platforms. The role involves collaborating with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure consistent brand messaging, supporting campaigns, and optimizing content based on performance data. The specialist will analyze social media metrics, prepare reports with insights and recommendations, and stay current on industry trends and platform updates to inform strategy. This role also supports brand storytelling, reputation management, and the development of guidelines that ensure a cohesive, inclusive, and professional brand voice.

Qualifications
- Ability to develop and execute social media and brand strategies, including campaign planning, content calendars, and audience engagement plans.




- Strong skills in creating and editing digital content (copy, images, short-form video) tailored to specific platforms and target audiences.
- Experience with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and basic reporting to track performance and optimize content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a consistent, brand-aligned voice and attention to detail.
- Capacity to manage online communities, respond to comments and messages professionally, and represent the brand in a positive, inclusive manner.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with broader digital marketing concepts such as paid social, SEO basics, and integrated campaign support is beneficial.
