Role Description
The Consultant Medical Oncology role is a full-time, on-site position based at Prakriya Hospitals in Bengaluru. The consultant will manage oncology patients across outpatient, inpatient, and day-care settings, including diagnosis, staging, treatment planning, and administration of chemotherapy and other systemic therapies. Daily responsibilities include clinical assessment, reviewing investigations, coordinating multidisciplinary tumor boards,



and ensuring adherence to evidence-based protocols. The role involves close collaboration with surgical, radiation, and supportive care teams, guiding patients and families through treatment options and follow-up plans. The consultant will also participate in emergency oncology care, contribute to quality improvement, mentor junior clinicians, and support training initiatives within the department.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine with specialized training in Medical Oncology or related oncology disciplines.
- Experience collaborating and working with physicians from multidisciplinary specialties, including surgical and radiation oncology.
- Exposure to Emergency Medicine or management of acute oncologic emergencies in hospital settings.
- Background in Cardiology or familiarity with cardio-oncology considerations is an added advantage.
