Department: Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist faculty and students during laboratory sessions and demonstrations.
- Prepare, set up, and maintain lab equipment, tools, and experiments.
- Handle instruments and equipment with high precision and care to ensure accurate results.
- Ensure strict adherence to calibration standards and safety protocols at all times.
- Perform regular calibration and maintenance of lab machines and tools.
- Operate and maintain sophisticated instruments such as Nano Indenter and Dynamic Mechanical Analyser (DMA).
- Inspect equipment periodically and report faults or repair needs.
- Maintain lab records, inventory, and equipment usage logs.
- Support installation, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of lab equipment.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance in the lab.




- Assist in procurement and stock management of lab materials and consumables.

Qualification:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Skills Required:
- Knowledge of mechanical lab equipment and workshop practices (lathe, welding, fitting, etc.).
- Experience in handling and operating advanced instruments like Nano Indenter and Dynamic Mechanical Analyser (DMA).
- Solid attention to detail and precision handling skills.
- Understanding of calibration procedures and safety standards.
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, documentation).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
