Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented
Import Documentation Executive
to manage and coordinate import documentation and shipment-related activities. The candidate should have strong knowledge of import procedures, freight forwarding documentation, and coordination with shipping lines, clients, overseas agents, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end import documentation for air and sea shipments.
- Prepare, verify, and process import-related documents such as
Bill of Lading (BL), Air Waybill (AWB), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Delivery Order, and other shipment documents
.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, customs brokers, transporters, and clients.
- Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams.
- Ensure all documents are accurate and completed within the required timelines.
- Handle documentation amendments and resolve discrepancies or documentation-related issues.
- Coordinate for customs clearance and delivery-related documentation.




- Maintain proper records of shipment documents and update internal systems.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable import regulations.
- Coordinate with the operations and accounts teams for smooth execution of shipments.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum
3+ years of experience
in Import Documentation.
- Experience in the
Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry
is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of
Air Import and Sea Import documentation
.
- Familiarity with shipping terms, Incoterms, BL, AWB, invoices, packing lists, and customs documentation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel and email communication.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
