About the Role

We are looking for a
Procurement and Category Lead
to own Urvann’s end-to-end procurement, sourcing, and inventory function. The role will lead
Nursery Procurement, B2B Procurement, and Category Managers
, ensuring the right products are sourced at the right price, quantity, and time.

Key Responsibilities
- Own procurement and sourcing across all categories.
- Lead and manage
Category Managers and procurement teams
.
- Build and manage vendor relationships, negotiations, pricing, and payment terms.
- Drive inventory planning, replenishment, and availability while minimising ageing and stock-outs.
- Analyse sales, demand, and inventory data to drive procurement decisions.
- Build the right product assortment in collaboration with Category Managers.
- Identify opportunities to improve
costs, margins,



and procurement efficiency
.
- Set up processes and MIS to track procurement, inventory, vendor, and category performance.
- Work closely with Growth, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure seamless procurement and inventory management.

What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in
procurement, sourcing, category management, buying, or inventory
.
- Experience managing multiple categories, vendors, and teams.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and commercial skills.
- Positive understanding of demand planning, inventory management, and vendor management.
- Ability to take end-to-end ownership in a fast-paced environment.
