Medical Coding & Billing Intern (Medical Terminology, Claims, Healthcare Documentation)

Medinex Workforce is seeking a Medical Coding & Billing Intern to support healthcare documentation, coding-related workflows, billing records, and claims administration. This internship is suitable for candidates interested in healthcare operations and medical information management.

Job Type: Full-Time Internship

Work Mode: Remote

Duration: 1–3 Months

Stipend: ₹15,500 per month

Key Responsibilities

* Review healthcare documentation for completeness and consistency

* Assist with organizing patient and billing-related information

* Support basic medical coding and billing workflows under supervision

* Help review claim-related records and identify missing information

* Maintain accurate digital records and tracking sheets

* Assist with billing reports and documentation checks

* Follow established procedures for handling confidential healthcare information

* Coordinate with team members on documentation and process-related queries

Qualifications





* Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Medical Coding, Medical Billing, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biotechnology, or a related field

* Basic understanding of medical terminology

* Interest in healthcare documentation and revenue-cycle processes

* Familiarity with spreadsheets or healthcare information systems is an advantage

* Knowledge of ICD coding concepts is beneficial
