Role & responsibilities
- Identify and implement innovative solutions for the electrical sub-system, leading initiatives related to quality improvement, cost optimization, new product introduction, complexity reduction, and recent feature requests.
- Supervise and collaborate with other Senior Engineers during component development, ensuring adherence to tools and processes such as DFMEA, CSRA, Supplier Audit, etc.
- Define component specifications by gathering requirements from diverse process partners (Architecture, Quality, IP, Manufacturing, etc.).
- Manage the full life cycle of the allocated portfolio, including the creation and maintenance of Electrical components catalogue, Component Supply Specification, Design Guideline, Roadmap, IP database, and Cost Model.
- Drive innovation based on consumer insights. Drive and manage Electrical sub-system projects related to:
- Quality improvement
- Cost Out
- Complexity Reduction (Standardization)
- New Feature request
- Design development in collaboration with suppliers (e.g. DFMEA, CSRA, Supplier Audit, etc.)




- Collect component specifications from different stakeholders (e.g. Platform R&D;, Quality, IP, Manufacturing, etc.)
- Full Life Cycle Management of the allocated portfolio, including the creation and maintenance of Electrical components:

1. Catalogue
2. Component Supply Specification
3. Design Guideline
4. Roadmap
5. IP database
6. Cost Model
7. Drive and bring innovation, based on consumer insight

Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering
- Relevant experience in electrical engineering, demonstrating a solid understanding of the matter.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Autonomously works on the design & development of wire harness/electromechanical components.
- Collaborates with suppliers, factories, and other process partners to analyse technical solutions.
- Effective communication skills to engage with all company areas and manage suppliers.
