Job Summary

The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies for hydraulic cylinders across OEM, steel, mining, heavy engineering, and industrial sectors. The role focuses on business development, brand building, customer relationship management, market expansion, and achieving revenue targets while coordinating closely with design, production, quality, and finance teams.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop annual sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify current OEM customers, industrial clients, and market opportunities across India.
- Generate enquiries, convert leads into orders, and expand the customer base.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize orders.

2. Market Research & Competitive Analysis




- Analyze customer requirements, buying behavior, and industry trends.
- Study competitor products, pricing, and market positioning.
- Identify emerging opportunities in hydraulic and fluid power applications.

3. Marketing Campaigns & Brand Promotion
- Plan and execute product promotion campaigns through digital, print, exhibitions, and technical seminars.
- Coordinate website, social media, email marketing, and promotional literature.
- Strengthen the Veljan brand image with consistent technical and marketing communication.

4. Product Promotion & Technical Marketing
- Promote standard and custom-built hydraulic cylinders for various industrial applications.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for customers.
- Coordinate with the Design Department for customer-specific solutions.
