We are hiring for our corporate client. ThreatXIntel is the official hiring partner for this requirement.

We are looking for an experienced
Firmware Test Engineer
with strong hands-on experience in embedded/firmware testing, communication interfaces, Linux testing, and test automation.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in
Firmware Testing / Embedded Testing

• Strong understanding of
UART, RS485 and SPI
interfaces

• Experience with
Linux OS testing

• Valuable understanding of communication protocols and validation of implementation

• Hands-on experience with
RS485 interface tools and communication sniffing tools

• Exposure to
test automation using Python

• Knowledge of
Selenium or Playwright
is preferred

• Strong debugging, defect tracking and analytical skills

• Good communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of




physical access controllers and readers

• Set up and configure test environments involving access controllers and readers

• Execute detailed
test plans, test cases and test scripts

• Identify, document and track defects/issues

• Develop and execute
automated test scripts

• Perform
Regression, Stress, Load, Performance and System Testing

• Validate communication protocols and interface implementations

• Analyze test failures and collaborate with development teams for resolution

What We're Looking For

Someone who is comfortable working close to the
hardware + firmware + communication layer
, rather than only performing application-level testing.
