Roles & Responsibilities:
- Own category strategy across pumps, blowers, agitators, membranes & RO skids, dosing systems, PLC/instrumentation, MS/SS fabrication, piping/valves and civil materials
- Develop and qualify the vendor base; establish rate contracts and annual agreements for repeat categories
- Negotiate and deliver measurable cost reduction against budgeted procurement cost
- Run a disciplined purchase-to-pay cycle through ERP indent, enquiry, comparative, approval, PO, GRN, payment
- Manage import procurement — overseas vendors, incoterms, customs clearance and duty planning
- Own stores discipline at HO, workshop and sites — GRN, issue control, stock accuracy and physical verification
- Control inventory value, non-moving/slow-moving stock, and drive material reconciliation with Projects against BOQ
- Maintain critical spares availability jointly with GM – O&M;
- Plan and execute inbound/outbound logistics, including oversize and project cargo movement to sites
- Put transport contracts and rate agreements in place; manage freight cost per despatch




- Sequence site despatches to the project schedule
- Handle export logistics and documentation for overseas projects alongside Finance
- Operate vendor performance scorecards on quality, delivery and price
- Ensure GST, e-way bill and statutory documentation compliance on all movement
- Own the sub-contract and job-work fabrication vendor base
- Lead, structure and develop purchase, stores and logistics teams as one commercial function

Desired Candidate Profile:
- 15+ years in procurement, materials or commercial management in engineering, EPC or project-based manufacturing
- Direct experience buying rotating equipment, fabrication, piping, valves, electrical and instrumentation for project execution
- Import procurement and international logistics — incoterms, customs, freight forwarding, duty structures
- Demonstrated, quantified cost savings track record
- ERP-driven purchase-to-pay and inventory control;
