Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and modify 2D engineering drawings, manufacturing drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
- Develop and update 3D models, assemblies and detailed drawings using CAD software.
- Exposure to Creo / NX / SolidWorks will be an advantage.
- Convert 3D models into manufacturing-ready 2D drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances and specifications.
- Prepare and maintain BOM, drawing documentation and engineering records.
- Support current product development, design changes and engineering modifications.
- Review drawings for dimensional accuracy, GD&T;, manufacturability and design standards.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, Process Engineering and NPD teams for design feasibility.
- Support preparation of drawings for automotive components, tooling, fixtures and manufacturing equipment.
- Incorporate customer requirements and engineering changes into drawings.
- Participate in design reviews, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain drawing revisions and ensure proper documentation control.
- Support prototype development and manufacturing trials.
