Job Description
*Quantity Surveyor BESS PMC*
The Quantity Surveyor BESS PMC will support quantity verification, measurement validation, payment certification support, and variation assessment activities for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects. The role is responsible for validating installation quantities, payment evidence, material reconciliation, and variation records.
Key Responsibilities
Quantity Verification & Measurement
- Validate measurements for civil, electrical,
and equipment installation works against approved drawings and BOQs.
- Review site measurement records and installation evidence.
- Verify quantity traceability and measurement accuracy.
Payment & Billing Support
- Review RA bill quantity support and milestone payment evidence.
- Support validation of installed equipment and payment recommendations.
- Coordinate measurement records with engineering teams.
Variation & Reconciliation Management
- Maintain variation quantity records and supporting documentation.
- Perform material and equipment reconciliation activities.
- Track quantity-related discrepancies and missing evidence.
Reporting & Closeout
- Support quantity-closeout activities and final measurement certification.
- Maintain quantity registers and audit trails.
- Prepare reconciliation reports and commercial measurement inputs .
