About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer for our Service Department. This is an in-house technical support role focused on troubleshooting, customer coordination and remote service support.
You will communicate with customers, understand technical problems, provide first-level troubleshooting and coordinate with Field Service Engineers whenever site support is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer complaints, service tickets and technical queries.
- Provide technical support through phone, email and remote access tools.
- Troubleshoot automation and instrumentation-related issues.
- Coordinate with Field Service Engineers for issues requiring site visits.
- Follow up with customers until complete issue resolution and closure.
- Maintain service tickets, support logs and complaint records.
- Prepare troubleshooting guides and technical support documentation.
- Coordinate with internal technical and service teams.
- Collect customer feedback and identify recurring issues.
- Support continuous improvement of service processes.
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation or related engineering field.
- 1–2 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, Technical Support or Service.
Basic understanding of:
- PLC
- HMI
- SCADA
- Sensors
- Controllers
- Control Panels
- Industrial Instrumentation
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Comfortable working on computers, email, Excel and technical documentation.
- Strong willingness to learn.
Preferred
Candidates with experience in industrial automation, process control, instrumentation or technical customer support will be preferred.
Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
