Description

The NOC Analyst is responsible for proactively monitoring, managing, and supporting customer network and infrastructure environments to ensure maximum availability, performance, and operational stability. The role provides first-line operational support across network, server, cloud, and security platforms, responding to alerts, incidents, and service events in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor alerts, log incidents, perform initial triage and routing




- Monitor network health dashboards and alert feeds
- Log connectivity incidents and support tickets
- Monitor WAN circuits and connectivity alarms
- Log remote access incidents and escalate
- Log DC infrastructure alerts
- Log firewall-related incidents
- Log and track network changes in ITSM
- Capture automation-related incidents
- Log connectivity incidents affecting servers or hosting platforms
- Monitor network utilisation alerts
- Use knowledge base and operational runbooks
- Provide monitoring metrics and incident data

Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a Network Operations Centre (NOC), Service Desk, or IT infrastructure support environment
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching
- Familiarity with network monitoring and alerting platforms such as SolarWinds, PRTG, LogicMonitor, Zabbix, or similar tools
