Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data processing pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) tasks
- Utilize advanced SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases
- Design and implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy.
- Apply machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling and pattern recognition
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data storage, retrieval, and overall system performance
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data repositories and data warehousing solutions
- Work closely with data architects to enhance data infrastructure
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and scripting tasks

Key Competencies:




- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database management systems
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, data visualization tools, hypothesis testing and regression analysis
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for team-oriented coding
- Familiarity with financial concepts and instruments, such as market data and trading
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their data services
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Conceptual clarity of containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
