We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive sales and distribution operations across the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with strong expertise in team management, distributor handling, market expansion, and achievement of sales targets.

The role will be responsible for leading the sales team, strengthening distributor and customer relationships, expanding market presence, and ensuring consistent revenue growth across the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute area-wise sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Lead, manage, motivate, and develop the sales team to deliver business objectives.
- Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate team members based on defined performance KPIs.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution and market coverage.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities,



and pricing to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure effective execution of promotional activities, trade schemes, and new product launches.
- Monitor sales performance, secondary sales, distribution, and market penetration.
- Prepare regular sales reports and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess market conditions, customer engagement, and sales-team performance.
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and other internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales plans.
- Address customer and channel-partner concerns promptly and maintain robust business relationships.
- Implement cost-effective distribution strategies to improve productivity, market coverage, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company sales processes, policies, and reporting requirements.
