- Perform complete zero-set, tool offsets, and fixture/jig alignments on high-precision CNC machines.
- Execute first-piece trial runs ("prove-outs") utilizing CNC CTC and TMC settings.
- Select proper cutting tools, speeds, and feeds to maximize tool life and surface finish.
- Quality, Process Control & Documentation:
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;).
- Conduct in-process quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Implement shop-floor standards like 5S, poka-yoke, and TPM.
- Maintain process sheets, tool life logs, part drawings, and IATF/ISO quality audit tracking records.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience: 810 years dedicated to CNC programming/setting within an auto-precision components workplace.
- Technical Competency: Deep proficiency in reading engineering blueprints and GD&T.;
- System Knowledge: Hands-on command over COLLEGE, CYG, CNC CTC, and TMC programming/control features.
- Documentation Skills: Strong track record in managing shop-floor quality paperwork and process sheets.
