* Ensure implementation of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies at project sites.

* Conduct daily safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.

* Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices.

* Monitor working at height, electrical work, lifting/crane operations, excavation, and construction activities.

* Conduct safety inductions and training for workers and subcontractors.

* Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.

* Maintain HSE records, checklists, and statutory compliance documents.

* Ensure environmental compliance, housekeeping, waste management, and emergency preparedness.

* Coordinate with project teams and contractors to maintain a safe working environment.Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma/Degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 25 years of HSE/Safety experience,



preferably in Solar PV, Wind Energy, EPC, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Robust knowledge of HSE standards, risk assessment, JSA/JHA, PTW, toolbox talks, site inspections, and incident investigation.
- Experience in solar plant / wind farm construction and installation activities is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety requirements for working at height, electrical works, lifting & rigging, cranes, excavation, scaffolding, and heavy equipment.
- Experience with solar module installation, inverter/transformer areas, cable laying, electrical testing, and commissioning safety will be an advantage.
- For wind projects, experience with wind turbine erection, tower work, nacelle/hub activities, lifting operations, and work at height is preferred.
