Job Summary

We are looking for an IPDRG CDI Analyst with 2+ years of experience in IPDRG, inpatient coding, medical coding, clinical documentation, or related healthcare processes.

Candidates without direct CDI experience can also be considered, provided they have strong inpatient coding/medical coding knowledge and relevant healthcare experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Review inpatient medical records, clinical documentation, discharge summaries, diagnoses, and procedures.
- Analyze medical records to ensure accurate and complete documentation.
- Identify documentation gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for clarification.
- Review and validate IPDRG assignment, diagnoses, procedures, complications, and comorbidities.
- Apply knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding guidelines.
- Support clinical documentation improvement activities and physician query processes.
- Validate clinical indicators against documented diagnoses.
- Collaborate with coding, clinical,



and quality teams to resolve documentation and coding discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable coding, documentation, and healthcare guidelines.
- Participate in quality audits and support process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy while handling patient medical records.

Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in any of the following:
- IPDRG
- Inpatient Medical Coding
- Medical Coding
- Clinical Documentation
- DRG Validation
- Inpatient Coding Audit
- Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management with strong inpatient coding exposure
- Direct CDI experience is NOT mandatory.
- Good knowledge of ICD-10-CM / ICD-10-PCS is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
- Good analytical and documentation review skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex medical records.
- Good written and verb
