Role & responsibilities
- 1 to 3 years of experience in MIG welding in a heavy engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing workplace.
- Good hands-on experience in MIG welding.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
- Knowledge of welding parameters and weld defect identification.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, steel rule, measuring tape, and fillet gauge.
- Basic knowledge of fabrication processes and material handling.
- Strong focus on safety and quality.
Preferred candidate profile
- Qualification: ITI (Welder/Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
