Core Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. Nursing degree in a recognized specialty(Community Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Child Health Nursing) from an INC-approved institution. A Ph.D. in Nursing is highly desirable.
- Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience after completing the M.Sc. Nursing degree.
- Mandatory Registrations: Active status as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN, RM) with the respective State Nursing Council.
- NRTS Compliance: Must be enrolled in the Nurse Registration & Tracking System (NRTS) and possess a valid National Unique Identification Number (NUID) to verify faculty suitability.

Key Job Responsibilities:-

1. Instructional & Academic Leadership
- Curriculum Execution: Deliver lectures, practical demonstrations, and evaluate clinical skills for both undergraduate (B.Sc. Nursing) and postgraduate (M.Sc. Nursing) courses.
- Lesson Planning: Prepare specialized lesson outlines, course logs, agile instructional materials,



and valid student assessment tools.
- Academic Review: Actively participate in periodic institutional curriculum updates and internal educational evaluations.

2. Clinical Supervision & Mentorship
- Bedside Instruction: Manage, supervise, and mentor student groups during clinical postings in hospital wards or community health centers.
- Skill Integration: Blend clinical nursing concepts with theoretical foundations, ensuring students apply evidence-based care techniques.
- Student Appraisal: Perform comprehensive clinical examinations, continuous bedside assessments, and maintain rigorous student portfolios.

3. Administrative & Departmental Tasks
- Records Maintenance: Record precise academic logs, attendance sheets, and internal assessment grades following State University regulations.
- Sub-Committee Engagement: Serve on college committees (e.g., anti-ragging, exams, library, internal quality assurance cells).
