​About the Role

​Comfort Group is seeking a proactive Trainee Accountant to join our central retail finance team. You will receive hands-on training to handle daily store accounting, payment reconciliations, purchase verification, and store coordination across our retail store network.

​Key Responsibilities
- ​Daily Sales & Collections Audit: Verify store POS billing against cash deposits, card settlements (EDC), and UPI transaction logs across retail outlets.
- ​Bank & Receivables Reconciliation: Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and resolve payment gateway / EDC settlement discrepancies.
- ​Purchase Verification & Payables: Perform 3-way matching (PO, GRN, Vendor Invoices), verify GST/TDS, and assist in vendor ledger management.
- ​Store Coordination: Audit and replenish store petty cash expenses and coordinate with Store Managers on billing and cash collection queries.




- ​Audit & Compliance Support: Assist senior accountants in monthly book closure, statutory filings (GST/TDS data), and internal/statutory audit documentation.

​Qualifications & Skills
- ​Education: B.Com / BBA (Finance/Accounting) or equivalent.
- ​Experience: Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in accounting.
- ​Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles + MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Knowledge of Tally/ERP is a plus.
- ​Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong numerical ability, and good communication skills to coordinate with store teams

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
