Position Overview

We are looking for a Production Engineer – Press Shop
with
4 to 6 years of experience
in the
Automotive Sheet Metal Manufacturing Industry
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring production targets are achieved, optimizing machine utilization, improving productivity,



and maintaining quality, safety, and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, and execute daily production activities to achieve production targets as per the production plan.
- Ensure timely recovery of production backlogs through effective planning, resource allocation, and manpower management.
- Coordinate with PPC to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery of customer requirements.
- Supervise press shop operations, ensuring optimum utilization of machines, manpower, and materials.
- Perform and monitor
die setting
, die changeovers, and machine setup to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance department for preventive maintenance and quick resolution of machine breakdowns.
- Monitor production KPIs such as productivity, rejection, downtime, OEE, and machine efficiency, and implement corrective actions.
