Intermediate Marketing and Proposal Specialist

Job Description:

CDM Smith is seeking an Intermediate Marketing & Proposal Specialist to join our North America Unit Group. In this role, you will support CDM Smith’s mission by:
- Developing, writing, editing, and proofreading routine statements of qualifications (SOQs), proposals, presentations, capture plans, and related marketing materials.
- Supporting senior writers on proposal and marketing projects.
- Conducting market research and gathering intelligence on infrastructure projects.
- Writing and updating internal database content, including project descriptions, resumes, and qualifications materials.
- Maintaining up-to-date marketing and presentation materials, files, and visual assets.
- Responding promptly to requests for marketing materials and information.
- Maintaining accurate, reliable, and high-quality databases for marketing and promotional use.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications




- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of related proposal management experience.
- Prior experience working within architecture, engineering, infrastructure, or construction industries.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using AI-powered tools in proposal work such as Microsoft 365 Copilot and ChatGPT.
- Strong written communication skills with exceptional grammar, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Positive interpersonal collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a proactive and contributing team member.
- Ability to work and meet deadlines under rigid time constraints.
- Ability to work beyond the standard scheduled workday or workweek, as needed.
