Key Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming quality inspection of raw materials, components, and purchased materials.
- Perform in-process quality inspections during manufacturing activities.
- Conduct final inspection of finished products before release/dispatch.
- Verify products against approved specifications, drawings, standards, and quality requirements.
- Monitor production processes and identify quality deviations at an early stage.
- Perform line clearance and quality checks wherever applicable.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials/products.
- Prepare and maintain NCR, rejection, deviation, rework, and quality records.
- Support CAPA – Corrective and Preventive Action activities and follow up on closure.
- Maintain proper product and batch traceability records.
- Review production and quality documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Verify BMR/BPR and other production quality records, wherever applicable.
- Maintain quality checklists, inspection reports, test records, and other QMS documents.




- Support implementation and maintenance of the ISO 13485 Quality Management System.
- Assist in internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Track audit observations and support timely closure of quality-related findings.
- Monitor quality trends and prepare quality reports/MIS for management review.
- Assist in root cause analysis for recurring quality issues.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
- Support supplier/vendor quality evaluation and incoming material quality issues.
- Ensure proper control and availability of approved SOPs, Work Instructions, Forms, and Quality Records.
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection/testing equipment and related records.
- Conduct or support quality awareness and SOP training for employees.
- Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, cleanroom, and other applicable quality requirements.
